They Come very poor roots, and they dont have much money. They move often, one day dreaming to live in a real house, one they dont have to share, one with their own yard, with stairs that are not hallway stairs, etc. They finally move into this beaten up house on Mango street, Her family is in love with it and act like its their dream, however it does not meet Esperanza`s standards.
